Canon EOS Digital Rebel Black Body
Now available at Ritz Camera

 


November 20th, 2004 - Ritz Camera has today informed us that they have now received the new limited edition black bodied Canon EOS Digital Rebel SLR in stock. See Ritz details here.

The kit price consisting of the Canon EOS Digital Rebel (black) body and the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 AF zoom lens is $999 US, and qualifies for the current Canon USA $100 mail-in rebate offer, for a final cost of $899 US.

US customers can also take advantage of the Canon EOS Digital Rebel extended rebate offer, so that if you buy any three or more qualifying items at the same time, you can triple the rebate value and save a total of up to $300 US.

Note: according to earlier communication we were informed that this limited black version of the Canon EOS Digital Rebel will be offered as an exclusive to Ritz Camera in the US. We have contacted Canon USA to confirm if this is still the case.

The EOS Digital Rebel remains one of the best selling Digital SLRs in history because it gives consumers the speed and advanced functions formerly only found on higher end cameras. The black Digital Rebel features the same popular features, including fast seven point autofocus, 6.3 megapixel resolution, Canon's exclusive DIGIC imaging processor, and the same design and durability that has established the EOS Rebel line of SLRs as quality performers.

The black edition of the Digital Rebel is compatible with more than 50 Canon EF and EF-S lenses, including the new EF-S 17-85 mm f/4-5.6 IS USM and the wide-angle EF-S 10-22 mm. f/3.5-4.5 USM.
