- Nikon Canada Inc. has lowered the manufacturer's
suggested retail price (MSRP) today
on a number of their digital SLR cameras
including the popular Nikon D200, Nikon D80 and the Nikon D50 digital
SLR kit with lens.
The
Nikon D80 digital SLR body only and the Nikon D80 digital SLR kit with
the Nikon AF-S DX 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G ED zoom lens
have been reduced by $70 CDN.
The
new MSRP for the Nikon D80 digital SLR body only is $1139 CDN. The manufacturer's
suggested retail price for the Nikon D80 kit with 18-135mm lens is now
$1479 CDN.

The
new MSRP for the Nikon D200 digital SLR is now $1899 CDN, reflecting
a $100 manufacturer's price reduction on the Nikon D200 digital SLR
camera.
The
Nikon D50 kit with
the DX AF-S 18-55mm lens is now
$769. The
new MSRP on the Nikon D70s digital SLR kit with
the DX AF-S 18-70mm lens is $1049.
The MSRP on the Nikon D70s camera body alone is now $669 CDN.
Canon Canada Inc. reduced the price today on the Canon Digital Rebel
XT digital camera body and the Digital Rebel XT kit with the Canon EF-S
18-55mm lens by $70 CDN.
