D40X Sample Image EXIF Info

Nikon D40X digital SLR camera and AF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G IF ED Nikkor zoom set at 20mm. Using 3D Matrix multi-pattern metering with the camera set in Program auto mode, the Nikon D40X selected 1/160 sec. at f/6.3 for this scene with ISO set to 100.

We converted the original image in the camera using the Nikon D40X "Sepia filter" effect found in the camera's Retouch Menu (similar to the Nikon D80) and saved it as a copy.

The Nikon D40X digital SLR's 420-segment 3D Matrix Metering II system performed well, providing accurate white balance and exposure.
