this difficult lighting situation under very sunny conditions, the
Nikon D80 420-segment Matrix Metering II combined with the D80's image
processing system delivered pleasing tones and colours in default
mode.
This image was
a grab shot while walking with the crowd, and there was only a small
window before the moment was gone. The Nikon D80 handled quickly
and the only regret is that I had not already selected a larger
aperture in Aperture priority exposure mode providing a greater
depth of field to get a little more foreground focus as well. All
in all I just felt it ended up being a fun shot.

unsharp mask was also applied.
