Canon Canada
Inc. has also announced price reductions on three PowerShot digital cameras,
including the stylish Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS, the compact Canon PowerShot
SD780IS and the Canon PowerShot SX200 IS with 12x zoom.

The Powershot SD1200 IS incorporates
a 10-megapixel sensor, combined with a 3x (35-105mm equivalent) optical
image stabilized zoom lens. The PowerShot SD1200 IS comes in six bright
colours, including dark grey, blue, pink, green, light grey and orange.
The 'Smart Auto'
mode on the Canon SD1200 IS uses intelligent Scene Detection Technology
to identify the scene based on brightness, contrast, distance and
overall hue. The camera then selects the most appropriate scene
mode - from a choice of 18 - to obtain automatically perfect settings,
for effortless point-and-shoot operation
The SD1200 IS
incorporates a 2.5-inch LCD screen with 230,000 dot resolution,
and comes supplied with a Lithium Ion rechargeable battery and charger.

The ultra-slim Canon PowerShot SD780 IS Digital ELPH features a
modern look combined with a choice of four colours - black, red,
silver or gold.
Compact yet feature-rich,
the PowerShot SD780 IS Digital ELPH Camera is equipped with 12.1-Megapixels
of resolution and 3x optical zoom (33-100mm equivalent) with optical
image stabilization.

12.1 megapixel resolution and a 12x optical stabilized zoom
lens with 28mm wide-angle coverage to capture more in your frame.
A Smart AUTO mode intelligently selects the proper settings
for the camera based on 18 predefined shooting situations.
The PowerShot
SX200 IS offers a large 3.0-inch 230,000 dot LCD monitor with
wide viewing angle, and also allows for the recording of 720p
HD movies (1280 x 720 pixels).
