Nikon Canada Reduces Price on the Nikon D5000 SLR
and Offers Nikon D3 and D3x June Instant Rebate

Nikon Canada Inc. has today reduced the manufacturer's recommended retail price (MSRP) on the family oriented Nikon D5000 digital SLR kit with Nikkor AF-S DX 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR zoom lens to $999 Canadian. (Dealers are free to sell for less)

The Nikon D5000 digital SLR camera kit was originally announced at an MSRP of $1059 Canadian, so the new MSRP reflects a $60 reduction in price. The Nikon D5000 camera is also available in a kit with the upgraded Nikkor AF-S DX 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR zoom lens for a new price of $1199.

Nikon Canada has also introduced an instant rebate program on the professional Nikon D3 and Nikon D3x full frame FX format digital SLR cameras for the month of June.

Purchase either a Nikon D3 or a Nikon D3x digital SLR this month from an Authorized Nikon Canada Dealer and take advantage of a $250 Canadian instant rebate. The rebate is a direct to dealer incentive so there is no claim that has to be sent in.
