As an updated version of the Canon Rebel T2i (EOS 550D) announced last year, the Canon Rebel T3i incorporates the same 18.0 Megapixel APS-C size CMOS sensor, and the same DIGIC 4 image processor, capturing images at up to ISO 12800 and speeds of up to 3.7 fps. Like the Rebel T2i, the new Rebel T3i also features the same 9-point AF system, 63 zone dual metering system, and offers full HD movie recording, with full manual control and external microphone plug-in for sound recording if so desired. Additionally the Canon Rebel T3i features a very similar body design to its predecessor.
