March 19th. Today
we have published a series of sample images taken with a final production
version of the new 10
megapixel Nikon D40X
digital
SLR, the recently announced big brother to the 6.1MP Nikon D40.
We
tested the
Nikon D40X with the AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G ED
kit lens and the new Nikkor AF-S DX 55-200mm f/4.5-5.6G VR ED telephoto
lens. We
found the Nikon D40X digital SLR a real joy to use and very user
friendly. The large bright viewfinder is a nice feature, and the
camera's controls and menus are well laid out and easily accessible.

March 6th. Nikon
has today officially announced the 10.2 megapixel Nikon D40x, a
sister digital SLR camera model to the entry level 6.1MP Nikon D40
digital SLR. From
an ergonomic and design point of view there is nothing to differentiate
the Nikon D40X from the Nikon D40. In terms of features, the Nikon
D40X does offer a slightly faster continious shooting rate of 3
fps versus 2.5 fps on the Nikon D40. The Nikon D40x offers a flash
sync of 1/200 sec compared to 1/500 sec on the Nikon D40. See our

Elph lineup, the Canon PowerShot SD750 and the Powershot SD1000.
The
Canon SD750 Digital Elph features 7.1 megapixels of resolution,

USA Inc. has today announced a number of instant discounts on their
Nikon Coolpix digital cameras. The Nikon Coolpix L1, with 6.0 MP
resolution and a 5x optical zoom, is now covered by an $80 US instant
rebate. The
