Corporation has now provided another four image samples from the
soon to be released 12.4 MP Nikon D300 digital SLR. The
full size test images include a couple of portraits, one landscape/scenery
and one action shot. The images are taken at 200 ISO, except for
one of the portraits captured at 400 ISO.
While we are happy to see Nikon provide these D300 image samples
for evaluation we are eagerly waiting to get our hands on a final
Nikon D300 production camera...

Canada Inc. has now officially confirmed that the new Nikon D300
digital SLR will come with a two year manufacturer's warranty when
purchased in Canada.
We recently received Nikon Canada's "Holiday Line Up"
news release and noticed that the Nikon D300 was mentioned as one
of the DSLR's that is covered with a 2 year Canadian warranty when
purchased from an authorized Nikon Canada dealer.
A call to Nikon this afternoon confirmed that the D300 will in fact
carry the same two year warranty coverage as the current D200, D80,
D40x and D40 digital SLR cameras.
The Nikon D300 will also come supplied with (in Canada) the latest
full release of The 123 of Digital Imaging Interactive Learning
Suite (Version 4.0) by Vincent Bockaert, an excellent learning tool

Canada Inc. recently offered accredited professional sports photographers,
(attending the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball home games at the Rogers
Stadium in Toronto), the opportunity to test out initial production
samples of the new Nikon D3 12.1 MP FX Format digital SLR during
the game. We
have just posted five sample
images (cropped
and full size) taken with a Nikon D3 using a range of High ISO settings
by a photographer who
was present at the event.
One of the images was taken with the new AF-S VR 500mm f/4G ED telephoto

successor to the award winning Nikon D200 (Nov 2005). The Nikon
D300 incorporates major advancements in performance and design compared
to the Nikon D200, making the new camera much more than a simple
upgrade. A host of new Nikon technologies have been implemented
in the Nikon D300 including; a newly developed 12.3 effective megapixel
DX-format CMOS image sensor with up to 3200 ISO sensitivity (+ Hi1
6400), a new precision Multi-CAM 3500DX 51-point AF system, a large
3.0-inch high resolution 920,000 pixel LCD information display with

has today introduced the 6.1 megapixel Pentax K100D Super, an update
to the Pentax K100D digital SLR camera. The K100D Super incorporates
the Pentax-developed Dust Removal (DR) system, previously available
only in the K10D, to help prevent adhesion of dust to the CCD surface.
The Pentax K100D Super will also support the super sonic motors
